How long would it take to colonize the entire galaxy and what does imply about the number of ET civilizations?

Truthfully Terra forming hasn't been perfected but, when it is. I can tell you this Mars would be the first planet we Terra form. and it take almost 214 days to get there so. Doing some math would tell you that it would take years. not 2 or 3 but 100's of years.
