Statistically speaking, why do gay men (Please read on)...?

I don't really think all of that is necessarily true. I work in the chemical dependency field (and as a counselor I see patients with all kinds of issues: addiction, DV, trauma, abuse, legal issues, family issues, employment issues, etc.)- and there is a percentage of gay patients I deal with that seem to be basically statistically representative of what you might find in the general population... maybe slightly more are in drug/alcohol treatment. Does that mean that all gays in that type of treatment setting have grooming issues, or trouble with the law, etc....of course not. The same could be said for the heteros in treatment, as well.
